What career direction might you have gone before you decided on a Real Estate Career? 

Investment banking or financial analys 

What got you first interested in pursuing a Real Estate Career?

The real estate market is a very dynamic market. It encompasses players from a variety of different backgrounds, such as investors, designers, developers, contractors, lawyers, and accountants. I find this industry to be a very energetic and fascinating industry and I am deeply intrigued by the industry.

How did you find your first job in Real Estate?

I was first involved in the construction side of Real Estate Industry. I worked on a $300 million power plant construction project in Niagara Falls as my final co-op placement.

What networking opportunities have you found most valuable in becoming a real estate leader?

Some of the industry non-profit organizations such as NAIOP and ULI provide great networking opportunities to the key players in the real estate market. Getting involved in those organizations helped me to expand my network within the industry.

What continuing education opportunities have you found most valuable in becoming a real estate leader?

Throughout my career path, I continued with my education path and obtained my MBA, CPA, LEED AP and CMVP.  These key credentials helped me to build on my technical knowledge while shaping me to become a project manager.

What work experiences have you found most valuable in becoming a real estate leader?

Getting to know my customers and understand their needs is important to achieve project success.
