The room was full of University of Toronto (U of T) graduate students committed to learning more about Commercial Real Estate Development. How do you create a masterplan? How do know if your project is financially feasible? They didn't just want stories about past projects or shining building photos. They wanted to hear about some of the key components of the development process. There were many great questions from the students reaching late into the evening.
Due to strong interest in understanding concepts around financial feasibility. Akshay Gupta of the U of T Rotman MBA Real Estate Association worked tirelessly to coordinate a second workshop one week later. Some students from U of T's Urban Planning Graduate prgram attended as well to take in the workshop. Beyond Proformas was proud to ensure these workshops would have a social impact and as a result proceeds from the real estate workshop went to Toronto non-profits Delisle Youth Services and 100 Strong.
Congrats to all the U of T students on their participation.
